The process gwsync.exe is an instance of an executable or EXE file, and a part of the software product called GroupWise, or Novell GroupWise, which is developed by the company Novell, Inc. Upon the installation process of the program GroupWise, the gwsync.exe file is among the components that are added onto the computer, stores itself in a file folder, and registers into the Windows registry with a run identifier and an execution command. The gwsync.exe file begins to run in the background, and it is recommended to keep the file function or working, which means it must not be terminated or stopped. Also, gwsync.exe is compatible with most versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, also referred to as Windows operating systems, or sometimes Windows OS, including Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. gwsync.exe. is used by GroupWise, If you shut down gwsync.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop gwsync.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is GroupWise, from your system.
