The gtpbx.dll file is a process that starts when you boot Windows. The registry key is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ShellServiceObjectDelayLoad. A DLL [dynamic link library] file is a Windows application that has functions that can be used by other programs. It has a mechanism for shared codes and data that allow the developer to upgrade the functions of a program without the need to re-link or recompile. It can be reused or organized into a module to save disk space and memory. You cannot directly execute a DLL file. It needs an EXE to be loaded by the operating system through an entry point. Utilities such as RUNDLL32.EXE or RUNDLL.EXE provide the minimal framework and entry point that has enough functionality to run without support. A DLL file is easy to arrange and install. All processes using a DLL file share the code in the DLL to occupy a single space in the physical memory and not on the page file.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. gtpbx.dll. is used by Gtpbx.dll, If you shut down gtpbx.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop gtpbx.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Gtpbx.dll, from your system.
