What is gsvr.exe
The application that is commonly known as GEST Service for Program Management, installed in PCs via gsvr.exe, is from the software that installed Dynamic Energy Saver. The software was developed by Gigabyte United, Inc., for the purpose of providing energy-saving applications for Gigabyte motherboards. If your PC came with a Gigabyte motherboard, chances are, the software is already installed on your PC. The software adjusts your computer’s power usage according to its current workload. This way, your CPU will only utilize the right amount of power that it needs. Whether your CPU needs more or less energy, the application will do the adjustments automatically. Standard location of the file is C:\Program Files\GIGABYTE\GEST\gsvr.exe. Common file sizes are 66.5 KB and 78.5 KB. The file runs upon startup, and runs as a background process. Users do not recommend disabling the application. The application should be allowed to run in the background to help with CPU energy utilization.
