The process govsrv.exe is an instance of an executable or EXE file, known as Goverlan Agent Service or GoverLAN Agent Service or GOVsrv Application, and is a component of the software Goverlan (version v6) or GoverLAN Service or GoverLAN Agent Service or GoverLAN (version v6) or Dell Image Preparation Tool or EstimateS Win or HP Backup and Recovery or GOVsrv Application, which is developed by PJ Technologies, Inc. When the software is downloaded, the govsrv.exe file is installed onto the computer, stores itself in a file folder, registers into the Windows registry, and automatically runs in the background. Furthermore, the govsrv.exe file can be installed in most versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems,which include later versions, such as Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. govsrv.exe. is used by Goverlan (version v6) or GoverLAN Service or GoverLAN Agent Service or GoverLAN (version v6) or Dell Image Preparation Tool or EstimateS Win or HP Backup and Recovery or GOVsrv Application, If you shut down govsrv.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop govsrv.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Goverlan (version v6) or GoverLAN Service or GoverLAN Agent Service or GoverLAN (version v6) or Dell Image Preparation Tool or EstimateS Win or HP Backup and Recovery or GOVsrv Application, from your system.
