The giraffic.exe process is an executable file that belongs to the group of program files used by the Giraffic client software, and this process serves as the executable dispatcher process of the giraffic program and the main component of the Giraffic video accelerator module that is built into the Giraffic application. This means when the giraffic.exe file is activated, it calls on other program files associated to the Giraffic software and also instructs the system to allow the initialization of these program files, in order to load the Giraffic program and its video accelerator module. Upon execution, the giraffic.exe process also references modular system resources, program-specific modules and relevant firmware/driver software resources needed by the Giraffic software to function properly and perform its integrated features as requested by the user. The Giraffic software consists of a video acceleration solution that is implemented into servers of video streaming providers and a client application that is installed in Windows-based computers of subscribers and viewers of video streaming providers that have integrated the Giraffix video acceleration software into their Web servers.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. giraffic.exe. is used by Giraffix, If you shut down giraffic.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop giraffic.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Giraffix, from your system.
