Ghostwall is a firewall application that enables the user to restrict the communication of the computer with other systems. Ghostwall is a firewall that is designed to replace the standard Microsoft firewall with better features and performance. This application enables the user to set network rules in order to block the desired processes, and is suitable for users who play games and other low latency requirements. The application is 32-bit and 64-bit compatible, with packet filtering ability for TCP/UDP/RAW and ICMP. The usage of computer resources is low, and it has minimal impact to network latency due to fast and efficient coding. Ghostwall displays the fifty last blocked and allowed packets, and shows the data transferred for TCP/UDP/RAW and ICMP. It features a Panic button that enables the user to block all traffic or allow all traffic to and from the computer.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ghostwall.exe. is used by Ghostwall, If you shut down ghostwall.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ghostwall.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Ghostwall, from your system.
