The file ghdrive32.exe is identified as a process that relates to malware classified as Trojan.FakeAV!gen54 by Symantec. This Trojan malware relates to a fake antivirus product that relies on popups with false detection on the system, forcing the product to buy the fraudulent software in order to remove the infections, which the program has created. The Trojan FakeAV!gen54 misrepresents the security status of the system so that the user will be convinced to buy software in order to remove the non-existent malware or security risks. The user is continually prompted by the Trojan by disrupting computing activities, until the software is purchased.
