The file ggclient.exe, known as GG E-Sports Platform client, belongs to software GG Client Application by Ocean Technology and Media. GG client application is a part of Garena (Global Arena), which is a worldwide E-sports publishing company that supports, maintains, and promotes various games from many different developers. Thje GG Client application is a program that enables the user to create a small artificial network within the Garena gaming network in order to play a variety of games with other users of the application. Garena is an online gaming platform where gamers are able to play multiplayer online games with each other. Gamers can create their own unique identity by customizing their avatars or changing their names. The online game service uses the virtual currency called Shells, which can be used to purchase Gold membership for instant access to the platform anytime, to create clans, or to get themselves unbanned.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ggclient.exe. is used by GG Client Application, If you shut down ggclient.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ggclient.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is GG Client Application, from your system.
