The file getright.exe, known as Getright ® www.getright.com, belongs to software GetRight Pro by Headlight Software. This software is combined download manager and download accelerator that optimizes the speed of downloads and uploads. GetRight Pro integrates with Web browsers, which enables downloads with a single click, or the user can manually enter a URL and the target folder. It downloads from the Web, FTP servers, and BitTorent, showing download lists that supplies various information such as the download progress, document size, and the estimated time until the download will be completed. Users who want to customize download tasks can create new folders and filters, add a numbered sequence of URLs, include import and export download lists, and use a search function. Other features offered include server synchronization tool and server manager, a download bar, URL verification, and a podcast downloader that can add the files into a playlist in iTunes or Windows Media Player.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. getright.exe. is used by GetRight Pro, If you shut down getright.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop getright.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is GetRight Pro, from your system.
