GetPopUp Application, a task that is installed when the executable file getpopupinfo.exe is enabled, is part of the dBpoweramp software. Licensed under Illustrate, the software is an audio converter that supports the most popular audio codecs, thereby enabling them to convert their audio files into different formats to make them compatible with their music players. The software also allows users to rip their audio CDs. The getpopupinfo.exe file on the other hand, gives users pieces of information about the music tracks saved on the computer simply by hovering the mouse over each song title. Most users find the file useful since it gives them a bit of info about the songs they have on their computer; however, they also found the file to be using up more than its fair share of system resources. Usually, when the file is found to be hogging system resources, users choose to disable the file to free up CPU memory.
