(NUF) is a Norwegian producer of digital dictionaries, with partners like the international publishers Ernst Klett Verlag, Oxford University Press, Cappelen Forlag, and other respected publishing houses in order to produce their content digitally. The iFinger software is based on the LinguistX modules from Inxight Software Inc., featuring a search engine that works by appearing on the user's screen and delivering results in a drop-down window. The application uses an internal browser to present the HTML formatted content, and Inxight's LinguistX module for linguistic analysis of the input. It uses cookies for record-keeping purposes, such as in tracking user trends and patterns, which include the number of people that use the iFinger site and product. Cookies are also used to identify the users visiting the sites and to track personal preferences.
