The file gameface.exe, known as Messenger (version 2.0), belongs to software GameFace Messenger by AceGain. GameFace is instant messenger for gaming that provides video conferencing, voice chat, and game server packed together in one client. This program was launched by ASUSTek Computer Inc. (ASUS) in collaboration with ByteSwarm, a division of AceGain Inc., to improve online gaming interaction. In addition to providing instant messaging and point-to-point video conferencing, users of this program can join with multiple players in a video conference and voice chat. ByteSwarm, a relative newcomer to gaming, provided the GameFace Messenger core technology called ByteSwarm GameONE for instant messaging, game server browsing, contact management, and data delivery mechanism. It is based on AceGain's DRAMA Distributed platform or Dynamic Routing Adaptive Mobile Agent, which is the platform that provides fundamental application infrastructure for routing-based data networking, management, security, and content distribution across heterogeneous operating environments.
