The file gabpath.exe, known as GabPath, belongs to software GabPath Application by NN Group Global Services. GabPath is a malicious adware program that is advertised as a browser application. Developers of this application offer users the service of looking for the items that they are searching for in the Internet. However, what it does is to provide endless, annoying popup alerts as the user is browsing the Internet. Some popup alerts may be random, but others are fake browser alerts or tricky marketing practices that entice the user to download an application, buy an item, or create links. This malicious malware removes application deletes important files and can disable the computer system or network. GabPath is designed to allow remote access to the computer and consumes a large amount of system resources, traces and records the user's Internet browsing habits, and can record and steal personal information.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. gabpath.exe. is used by GabPath, If you shut down gabpath.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop gabpath.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is GabPath, from your system.
