The executable process file g2svc.exe (version 7.2.0.635) belongs to GoToMyPC Loader and to the software GoToMyPC which is further identified as GoToMyPC Host Loader as developed by GoToMyPC, Citrix Online, a division pf Citrix Systems, or Expert City. The process file is described to be as a web-based remote-access solution that enables companies and individual users to register their computers online and securely access from any web browser. The process file is found in Program Files\Citrix\GoToMyPC\g2svc.exe folder with a file size on Windows 7/XP of 249,904 bytes (60% of all incidences), or 258,856 bytes. It is not visible which enables to hide itself and observe applications, and is not a Windows system file. The process file has been certified by a trustworthy company and is considered to be a Verisign signed file by Citrix Online, in which certificate has been issued by Verisign Time Stamping Services Signer. In functionality, the process file permits the user to restart the distant computer, send files, print documents, and fix the remote computer’s window size. It also enables to have connections occurring at the same time, AES, varied monitor support, 128-bit encryptions, and full control mode.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. g2svc.exe. is used by GoToMyPC Loader, If you shut down g2svc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop g2svc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is GoToMyPC Loader, from your system.
