The fvdtoolbar.dll, known as FVD Suite Toolbar, belongs to software FVD Toolbar. The Flash Video Downloader Toolbar is a plugin that is intended for downloading video from popular video downloading sites such as YouTube, MetaCafe, Redtube, Xvideos, DailyMotion, and many others. The plugin installs easily and features a discreet icon on the packed browser toolbar. This toolbar is installed to extend the functionality of the Flash Video Downloader, which is software that allows the user to download flash video from video-sharing websites with little user intervention. To download video, the user can click on the Flash Video Downloader icon while in a page that features a video file. This action opens a small window that advises the user to add the .flv file extension to the video file when it is saved. The link shows the file name of the downloaded video, but changing the file name helps in keeping the downloaded videos organized.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. fvdtoolbar.dll. is used by FVD Toolbar, If you shut down fvdtoolbar.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
