What is fsui.exe
The process Family Safety Client is part of the Windows Live Family Safety software, which installs through the file fsui.exe. This is a type of child safety program installed on computers to protect kids from harmful websites or content while they are on the computer and browsing through the Internet. The file basically gives parents and guardians control over websites that the kids can visit while they are online. There are options that allow adults to limit search results yielded by search engines online, by blocking specific sites, keywords or key phrases. The fsui.exe file specifically provides a System Tray access to the software’s applications, to enable parents and guardians to easily change the settings of the program according to what they deem is best for each child in the household. The file has a standard location on disk of C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Family Safety\fsui.exe. Disabling the file does not disable all the monitoring and security features of the software.
