It builds on traditional parental controls that typically have a more categorized approach to protection from online threats and inappropriate content that is made widely available through free tools from Web-based Windows Live services. One Care Family Safety features Web content filtering that enables users to choose settings to "allow", "block", or "warn" for a range of content categories. Parents can adjust and review settings online anytime from any PC connected to the Internet to help meet the family's evolving needs. They can access activity reports for each user in the family to stay informed about children's browsing habits and online communications.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. fssui.exe. is used by Windows Live "One Care" Family Safety, If you shut down fssui.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop fssui.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Windows Live "One Care" Family Safety, from your system.
