The fshttps.exe file is the process called F-Secure Http Server that is used by the application F-Secure Parental Control created by F-Secure Corporation. It is a non-system process that originates from the program installed in the system. This is not a visible program. It is not a core file for Windows that means the operating system can run without requiring this process. This program connects to the Internet or LAN through open ports. The fshttps.exe file can monitor programs and hide itself. This process file has no digital signature. It automatically starts on services installed or on running processes. Parental Control allows you to protect your children from undesirable content found on the Internet. It enables children to browse safely using their mobile devices by blocking access to undesirable content. This application analyzes the Web pages and blocks unwanted pages based on content.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. fshttps.exe. is used by F-Secure Parental Control, If you shut down fshttps.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop fshttps.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is F-Secure Parental Control, from your system.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as F-Secure Parental Control, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application. Some application require that they have processes running all the time so they can do things such as check for updates or notify you when you get an instant message. Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
