The freepopsd.exe file is the process freepopsd.exe that is used by the application NSIS FreePOPs by NSIS. It is not a system process. It is not a core file for Windows that means the operating system can run without requiring this process. It can monitor applications. The program sends or receives data to and from the Internet or LAN using ports. FreePOPs is a software that allows access to various resources through POP3 protocol. It allows you to download mail from the Web, aggregate RSS feeds and more. It is a free software. The freepopsd.exe file has no digital signature. Automatic startup locations for this process include running processes, All users startup startmenu, current user autorun registry entries, local machine for autorun registry entries, Current user startup startmenu, Roaming Start Menu\Programs\Startup and Start Menu\Programs\Startup or on %windir%\Tasks.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. freepopsd.exe. is used by NSIS FreePOPs, If you shut down freepopsd.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop freepopsd.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is NSIS FreePOPs, from your system.
