The fplaunch.dll file is the process called FlpLaunch Module that is used by the application FlipAlbum created by E-Book Systems, Inc. FlipAlbum is an application that offers a unique way of presenting digital pictures. A DLL or dynamic link library file has a mechanism for shared codes and data that can be applied to various applications at the same time. It can be reused or organized into a module to save memory and disk space. This DLL file is a BHO [browser helper object] that automatically starts when you load the Internet browser. It is an Internet Explorer plug-in that provides features of FlipAlbum. FlipAlbum is a program that allows you to create digital photo albums with the feel and look of the traditional album using a three-dimensional page-turning animated feature. You can create the basic album from a folder, and enhance the pages using borders and themes provided by the application. The fplaunch.dll file helps in applying the Digital Flip technology. This process file has a digital signature from E-Book Systems, Inc. with certificate issued by VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. fplaunch.dll. is used by FlipAlbum, If you shut down fplaunch.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop fplaunch.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is FlipAlbum, from your system.
