The forcefield.exe process, or the ZoneAlarm Forcefield, is a file developed by the company Check Point Software Technologies which belongs to the ZoneAlarm Forcefield. Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., is a massive provider of information technology’s security solutions and are widely known for their VPN and firewall products. As the company expands, Check Point Software Technologies begins to market a more massive range of combined hardware and software products for information technology’s security, data security, security management and endpoint security. Check Point’s ZoneAlarm Forcefield is created to safeguard the browsing of the Web using inline download scanning, browser virtualization and DNS validation services. The forcefield.exe process works optimally in order to create Web safety. It is a personal firewall application and included in it is an inbound intrusion detection system, alongside capabilities for programs to create outbound connections. The forcefield.exe process is an executable program and is registered ‘ISW’ as its run identifier.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. forcefield.exe. is used by ZoneAlarm Forcefield, If you shut down forcefield.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop forcefield.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ZoneAlarm Forcefield, from your system.
