What is font.dll
The font.dll file is the process called IEPlus that is used by the application IEPlus. A DLL or dynamic link library file is a Windows program that has functions that can be applied to other programs. It has a mechanism for shared codes and data that allow the developer to upgrade the functions of a program without the need to re-link or recompile. This DLL file is a BHO [browser helper object] that automatically runs when you launch the Internet browser. Personal firewalls usually do not block BHO activities because the firewall detects the BHO as the browser itself. The font.dll process can monitor the Internet browser. This process file has no digital signature. It automatically starts on Explorer BHOs. IEPlus is an Internet Explorer add-on. It uses minimal system resources. It allows you to use the feature My Home, My Page for you to customize your own home page, use different search engines for your searches, manage RSS feeds and favorite Websites, or to write your to-do list for time management.
How can I stop font.dll and should I?
Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. font.dll. is used by IEPlus, If you shut down font.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
