The flockxp.sys file is the process called File Lock Kernel that is used by the application File Lock developed by TopLang Software. This process file is a driver. A driver is a computer application that controls or operates a certain device connected to the computer. It usually communicates with the devices through a communications subsystem or computer bus that is connected to the hardware. A driver is operating-system-specific and dependent of hardware. The flockxp.sys process does not use a visible window. File Lock is an application that allows you to hide, lock and password protect your folders and files from unwanted access. It does not alter the folders and files. It does not slow down the speed of your system during operations. You can set different modes of protection for different date, time and users through the groups & users schedule options.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. flockxp.sys. is used by File Lock, If you shut down flockxp.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop flockxp.sys, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is File Lock, from your system.
