Most reports from anti-virus programs and end users identify flashmute.exe file as malware. This program uses an icon on the taskbar beside the clock. The flashmute.exe process can change or control the behavior of other programs. It can monitor applications. This file has no digital signature. This process automatically starts on running processes, local machine of autorun registry entries or current user autorun registry entries. Malware malicious software is a program created to steal personal or sensitive information, access target systems without the consent of the owner and to interrupt the normal operations of the target computer.
