The file flashfxp.exe, known as FlashFXP, belongs to software FlashHXP from IniCom Networks. FlashFXP is file transfer protocol (FTP) client for Windows that offers a fast and easy way to transfer any file from the local computer to a server on the Internet. File transfer can also be done between two servers using server-to-server (FXP) transfers. With its customizable and Explorer-like interface, the software is easy to understand and use. Files transfers are provided additional security with SFTP (Secure Shell/SSH), FTPS (Secure Socket Layer over FTP), and seamless one-time password support. File transfers rules can be based on size or date, while FTP caching for queuing and browsing during a transfer or while not connected is enabled. FlashFXP offers other unique features such as multi-firewall and proxy support, remote editing with automatic or manual uploading, site manager with XML import and export, backup and restore settings, an integrated language translation editor, and localization in many languages.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. flashfxp.exe. is used by FlashFXP, If you shut down flashfxp.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop flashfxp.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is FlashFXP, from your system.
