The filmsg.exe file is the process Filseclab Messenger that is used by Filseclab Messenger created by Filseclab. The location of this process file is in C:\Program Files\Common Files subfolder. Known sizes for this file include 311,556 bytes, 319,488 bytes and 315,652 bytes with 56% occurrence. The process runs when you start Windows. The registry key for this process is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders. This program does not use a visible window. The filmsg.exe process records inputs. It is a non-system process that originates from the application installed in the system. It is not a core file for Windows. The Filsecab Messenger receives online messages, tests download speed and checks available version. It also serves the popup MessageBox for Filsecab software. Changes made through Filsecab Messenger options will take effect upon restart.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. filmsg.exe. is used by Filseclab Messenger, If you shut down filmsg.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop filmsg.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Filseclab Messenger, from your system.
