The filebx.exe file is the process called FileBox eXtender that is used by the application FileBox eXtender developed by Hyperionics Technology. The location of this executable file is in the C:\Program Files subfolder. Known sizes for this file include 557,056 bytes, 589,824 bytes and 512,000 bytes with 55% occurrence. The program uses an icon on the taskbar that is usually next to the clock. The filebx.exe process can control or change the behavior of other applications. It can monitor programs and record inputs. You can access the program FileBox eXtender on Windows Control Panel. This product is a freeware with GNU General Public License. It source code is licensed under the same. The program enhances the functions of standard Save File and Open File dialog boxes on Windows. It can resize the dialog boxes for Windows file management. The filebx.exe file has no digital signature. It automatically starts on running processes, current user autorun registry entries, Current user startup startmenu, All users startup startmenu, Roaming Start Menu\Programs\Startup or Start Menu\Programs\Startup.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. filebx.exe. is used by FileBox eXtender, If you shut down filebx.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop filebx.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is FileBox eXtender, from your system.
