The fcsvr.exe file is the process called QuickCam Framework Server that is used by the application Logitech ImageStudio created by Logitech. This file has no digital signature. This process automatically starts on running processes. The directory for this process file is %PROGRAMFILES%\Logitech\ImageStudio. QuickCam is a Webcam video camera product line from Logitech. Connectix is the original developer of QuickCam. It is the first Webcam-like device marketed widely although it did not use the term “Webcam”. It has undergone evolution form RS-232 connector to parallel connector then to USB connection. The software shipped originally with the camera includes QuickMovie that records motion pictures and QuickPICT for taking still images. Logitech has acquired QuickCam product line since 1998.
