The file ers.exe, known as ers, belongs to software Rimage OfficeNet Software Suite from Rimage. The Software Suite from Rimage, which is a suite for the creation and production of CD, DVD, and Blu Ray disc that includes the CD Designer for Disc Label Creation, QuickDisc for Disc Content Mastering, Production Server for System Control and Operation, System Manager for Production Monitoring and system Administration, and the Control Center System Recovery. CD Designer is software that enables the user to create, import, and customize the graphics that will be printed on the CD or DVD surface, while QuickDisc is the complete application for the preparation and assembly of the disc contents and disc graphics. After the disc has been submitted for recording and printing, the Production Server enables the full use of systems resources through asynchronous control of the recording, printing, robotics, pre-mastering, and staging of images. The System Manager allows control of multiple Rimage disc publishers distributed throughout the network.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ers.exe. is used by Rimage OfficeNet Software Suite, If you shut down ers.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ers.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Rimage OfficeNet Software Suite, from your system.
