The file errorsmart.exe, known as Registry Cleaner, belongs to software ErrorSmart Application by AntiSpyware. ErrorSmart is classified as fake system utility application that presents a set-up wizard to facilitate the installation of the software into the system. It presents as a utility that conducts thorough analysis and repair of the Windows registry to speed up the computer and improve its performance. The interface provides a list of items for scanning that includes ActiveX, OLE and COM, Application Paths, shared Files, Drivers, file Associates, User Settings, System Services, and many more. The scanning is freely downloaded and once completed it presents the list of detected errors and advice the user to purchase the full version of the program in order to perform the needed repairs. If installed, ErrorSmart has the capability to disable legitimate security tools and installs other malware, after which it reports the malware to the user and requests for payment for the removal. It also loads exaggerated infection alerts to scare the user.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. errorsmart.exe. is used by ErrorSmart, If you shut down errorsmart.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop errorsmart.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ErrorSmart, from your system.
