The file eppshellex.dll, known as EPPShellEx.dll, belongs to software Epson Easy Photo Print by Seiko Epson Corporation. Epson Photo Print is software that relates to the functionalities of the Epson all-in-one inkjet printer that are supported by the Epson Easy Print software. Once installed, the software enables the user to easily layout and print digital images on various kinds of paper. The user can select the drive and folder where photos are saved on the left side of the screen. The photos from the selected folders are displayed as thumbnails on the main application window, and the user can choose the images for printing from the displayed thumbnails. The selected files are moved to the right side of the screen, which shows the column Photos to Print. The user is given the option to choose the number of copies to be printed by clicking on the + or - button under the thumbnail image. Before the image is printed, the user can choose the layout, size, and quality of the image, and have a preview before it is printed.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. eppshellex.dll. is used by Epson Easy Photo Print, If you shut down eppshellex.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
