Emusic Toolbar is a Web browser add-on that allows users to search the Internet easily and navigate through eMusic.com ant its extensive song library. The eMusic website is dedicated to artists that are signed to independent record labels, and provides artist information and music downloads that are updated daily. The search feature can be broken down into categories such as artists, albums, tracks or labels, and the user can browse specific genres such as jazz, blues, rock, pop and more directly from the toolbar. The features include Pandora radio integration, eMusic genres, PowerCharts, and quick access to eMusic's Twitter feed, eMusic widgets, Facebook, MySpace, and the eMusic message board. Music files offered by eMusic are DRM-free, which allows the user to transfer these files to other electronic players such as computers, phones, or MP3 player. The eMusic Toolbar enables users to control their eMusic files directly from the browser and simplifies the process of plugging in to the eMusic account.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. emusictoolbar.dll. is used by eMusic Toolbar, If you shut down emusictoolbar.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop emusictoolbar.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is eMusic Toolbar, from your system.
