The third component of the suite is the Oracle Test manager for test process management, including test requirements management, test management, test execution, and defect tracking. This application provides a series of integrated testing accelerators for testing Oracle packaged applications and SOA applications that provide enhanced scripting capabilities for more efficient and optimized testing. The supported technology and applications include Adobe Flex, Web/HTML, Oracle Databases, Oracle forms, Web services, and Oracle fusion applications.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. empstartlaunch.exe. is used by Oracle Application Testing Suite, If you shut down empstartlaunch.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop empstartlaunch.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Oracle Application Testing Suite, from your system.
