What is  elbydelay.sys

The file elbydelay.sys, known as Elby Delay Lower Filter Driver, belongs to software VirtualCloneDrive by Elaborate Bytes AG. VirtualcloneDrive is software that enables the user to create virtual drives and mount almost any ISO image unto the drive. VirtualCloneDrive works and behaves just like a physical CD/DVD drive, and the created image files can be mounted into a virtual drive from the hard disc or from a network drive. The cloned CD/DVD images can be used in a manner similar to inserting the physical CD/DVD into a regular drive. Users of VirtualCloneDVD do not need to run the program since the menu in the My Computer window will give that option in the right mouse button menu. It can install up to eight virtual drives and is a very handy product if the user does not have a physical CD/DVD drive installed. Software and driver that are to be installed can be cloned and mounted in the virtual drives in the formats that are available.
