The editpad.exe file is an EXE application process that is specifically deployed as the executable program dispatcher file of the EditPad Lite software. This is a Windows program classified as a free text editor application that can serve as an alternative to Microsoft Notepad or Microsoft Wordpad. The editpad.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the EditPad Lite program, which also means the editpad.exe process is bundled into the installer distribution packages of this text editor. The editpad.exe file is also known as the EditPad Lite Service process, and the EditPad Lite software was developed by JGsoft. The editpad.exe process works with other executable program files, certain DLL (Dynamic Link Library) modules, some SYS driver utilities, particular background process items and various components that are packaged into the installer distributions of the EditPad Lite software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. editpad.exe. is used by JGsoft EditPad Lite, If you shut down editpad.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop editpad.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is JGsoft EditPad Lite, from your system.
