The e_fatiala.exe process is an executable file that is used by the Epson Status Monitor applet for implementing some of its integrated functionalities upon user request. Version 3 of the Epson Status Monitor applet is the distribution package of this software that contains the e_fatiala.exe file. The Epson Status Monitor software is packaged with the firmware and driver software resources that are bundled with certain Epson printing devices. The content of the e_fatiala.exe file includes program logic code, application-specific directives and modular resource instructions that are used by the Epson Status Monitor v3 applicationp as reference data whenever it is required to perform specific features as requested by the user, which may include checking the remaining ink of the supported Epson printer. The e_fatiala.exe process and the Epson Status Monitor v3 software can also allow users to perform some maintenance operations on their compatible Epson printers.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. e_fatiala.exe. is used by Epson Status Monitor v3, If you shut down e_fatiala.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
