The e_fatiaba.exe process is also known as the EPSON Status Monitor and it is owned by the SEIKO EPSON CORPORATION. It belongs to the Epson Status Monitor 3 for the Stylus C88 Series printer. It is capable of monitoring printer status, performing Nozzle Checks, Printing Head Alignment and Head Cleaning, as well as checking ink levels. It is reported to not use much CPU. This program has a visible window, is not a Windows core file, but is considered to be a trustworthy file from Microsoft Corporation. The Epson Status Monitor is capable of recording inputs and has a technical security rating of 8% dangerous which would suggest that it is very safe to use. It has minimal chance of damaging the computer system, though it is still advisable to keep the application in working condition and to not let negligence damage the process. It is considered to be convenient and facilitates the use of the process. It should not be removed or the user might lose the capability to operate his or her printer optimally.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. e_fatiaba.exe. is used by EPSON Status Monitor, If you shut down e_fatiaba.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
