What is  dthtml.exe

The DTHtml.exe file launches Display Tune, the software for display tuning methods programmed by it developer, Portrait Displays, Inc. Display Tune features screen tuning and monitoring schemes namely, SmartControl, eDisplay Management, HP My Display, SmartControl II, and Liquid Color. Display Tune saves the user time tuning or adjusting the monitor screen’s color resolution, brightness, contrast, etc. The Display Tune features can be accessed directly from the System Tray, allowing the user to simply click the selected display scheme. DTHtml.exe allows language scripting to change variables, which affects the appearance and function of a "static" HTML page content. DTHtml.exe’s dynamic characteristic is it functions during the view of a page, and not in its page-generating ability with each page loading. A dynamic HTML or web page, by contrast, is a wider concept, generating a web page differently in each user, the load occurrence, or the specific variable value. It includes created page scripting by the client, and the scripting created by the server (PHP, JSP, Perl, or ASP.NET) out of the web server’s generated content prior to sending to the client.
