Windows version 2000 DMI Call Kernel Driver is the service name of the driver file dmicall.sys, and is a part of the program Sony DMI Call Service, or Windows 2000 DMI Call Kernel Driver, which is developed by Sony Corporation. This driver process has a digital signature (Microsoft Time-Stamping Service) from Microsoft Windows Component Publisher, and makes it a legitimate file, which means it must not be terminated or stopped, but rather continuously run in the background of a computer system. Because it is digitally signed, it is more recommended to keep it stored and actively running as a background process. This kind of file is compatible with Microsoft Windows Operating System, which is a well-known software product developed by Microsoft Corporation, but this only works on a certain OS, and that is Windows OS.
