The .dll file installed with the driver for Dell single printers and all-in-one printers is dlcctime.dll. The file is responsible for two things: one, it acts as a timer for Dell tasks and printers; where the file ensures that communication between the two is done in the soonest and shortest time possible; second, the file is associated with updates for Dell printers. Removing the file from the system will cause your Dell device to cease functioning. The file is usually located in a Windows subfolder, C:\Windows\System 32\spool\drivers\W32X86\3\dlcctime.dll. It is approximately 73,728 bytes. There have been reports of error messages being prompted by the system, particularly “RUNDLL…Error Loading C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\W32X86\3\dlcctime.dll.” This issue usually manifests when the user has uninstalled the printer from the system, but the dlcctime.dll file was not uninstalled properly. The file was still in the system even if the printer is no longer connected to the PC. In other instances, the error occurred because the OS is not updated, which renders its version incompatible with the dlcctime.dll
