What is  dlbttime.dll

The Dynamic-Link Library process file dlbttime.dll is also known as Timer DLL that is part of my printer drive. The process file is found to be located in the subfolder of C:\ Windows\ System 32 that automatically loads up together with the Windows boot process with the Registry Key of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ Current Version\ Run. The process file has a visible window and is considered to be a Microsoft signed file, wherein the certificate has been signed by Microsoft Hardware Compatibility Publisher and issued by Microsoft Time Service. However, the process file dlbttime.dll is not considered to be a Windows file or neither is it CPU intensive with a file size on Windows 7 or XP of 69,632 bytes (95% on all occurrences), or 73,728 bytes. In functionality, the process file dlbttime.dll is utilized by Dell printer for spooling print jobs to the printer.

How can I stop dlbttime.dll and should I?

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. dlbttime.dll. is used by Timer DLL, If you shut down dlbttime.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop dlbttime.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Timer DLL, from your system.
