This freeware allows users to convert, stream, organize, and transfer DivX, MKV, and MKV videos on the computer. DivX is a brand name of products created by DivX Inc. that utilizes the DivX codec, which is a popular tool due to its ability to compress lengthy video segments into small sizes while maintaining relatively high visual quality. The DivX codecs include the regular MPEG-4 Part 2 and the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC DivX Plus HD codec that is commonly associated with ripping.
