DisplayLinkManager Application is a process installed through the executable file displaylinkmanager.exe. This is a file that is installed with the software for DisplayLink Core. File sizes may vary with different versions of the application, but the most common size installed on computers is 9,663,848 bytes. Its default location is a subfolder in Program Files, and its command path is C:\Program Files\DisplayLink Core Software\displaylinkmanager.exe. The file enables DisplayLink Graphics Adapters to function. The Graphics Adapter allows users to connect an external monitor through a USB slot. The USB port can be from your PC, a docking station, or hub. You can connect as much as six USB displays to a single computer, provided that you have a graphics adapter for each one. The file may be pre-installed on the machine by the vendor or manufacturer, so users who just purchased a new laptop or desktop PC may find the file already running on their machines.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. displaylinkmanager.exe. is used by DisplayLink Graphics Adapter Manager, If you shut down displaylinkmanager.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop displaylinkmanager.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is DisplayLink Graphics Adapter Manager, from your system.
