The executable process file devicemanager.exe (1.0.0.137) is a device Manager MFC Application that belongs to Device Manager Application and is also identified as HSPA USB MODEM that is part of the software DeviceManager Application or Quick net/HSPA USB MODEM. The process file was developed by the company Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V. or Alcatel where it is also known to be as Samsung Kies from the company Mobileleader Co., Ltd.. The process file is found to be running in the Task Manager as the process devicemanager.exe that is found to be located in the subfolder of C:\Program Files\Common Files in the directory of %PROGRAMFILES%\Samsung\Kies\External\Device Modules or is usually at Program Files\Philips\philips device manager\bin folder. The process file has no visible window, and is projected to have a file size in Windows 7/XP of 40,960 bytes (90% on all occurrences) or 45,056 bytes.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. devicemanager.exe. is used by DeviceManager MFC Application, If you shut down devicemanager.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop devicemanager.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is DeviceManager MFC Application, from your system.
