NI LabVIEW Run-Time Engine is the service name of the driver file called cvintdrv.sys, and is a part of the program NI LabVIEW Run-Time Engine, also PSI Display, or Virtual Weather Station, which is developed by National Instruments Corporation, or EControls, or Ambient. Whether the file belongs to NI LabVIEW Run-Time Engine, or other software products, cvintdrv.sys is essential to run in the background, and must not be terminated or removed, because it is digitally signed by National Instruments Corporation - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2, and it is able to process its function on the computer system. In addition to that, cvintdrv.sys is a driver file that works with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, which include both later and older versions, such as Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME. Whichever Windows OS is used, cvintdrv.sys is important to be kept stored, registered into the Windows registry, and run as a background process.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cvintdrv.sys. is used by PSI Display or NI LabVIEW Run-Time Engine or Virtual Weather Station, If you shut down cvintdrv.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cvintdrv.sys, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is PSI Display or NI LabVIEW Run-Time Engine or Virtual Weather Station, from your system.
