What is  ctrlwzrd.dll

The ctrlwzrd.dll file has been reported by many users as a malicious application flagged by their anti-malware tools as a Trojan associated with variants of the trojandropper.vb.nvg program, which is a family of Trojans and worms known to infect unprotected Windows-based computers with outdated OS security certificates, unencrypted TCP/IP network ports and an unsecured Windows System Registry. Some of these users claim that the ctrlwzrd.dll malware is distributed as a malicious BHO (Browser Helper Object) with executable component processes that can create and inject keys and entries into the unsecured Windows System Registry of the unprotected system, in order for the ctrlwzrd.dll malware and its EXE component files to automatically initialize during system startup and operate as cloacked background processes during system runtime. These same users state that the ctrlwzrd.dll malware, upon its successful activation in the Windows-based computer, is capable of displaying pop-up ads while the user is browsing the Internet. Other users claim that the ctrlwzrd.dll malware is able to exploit and use unencrypted TCP/IP network ports of the unprotected system, especially those with outdated OS security certificates, to download more malicious programs unto the infected Windows-based computer from remote servers that are allegedly managed by the authors of the ctrlwzrd.dll malware.

How can I stop ctrlwzrd.dll and should I?

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ctrlwzrd.dll. is used by trojandropper.vb.nvg, If you shut down ctrlwzrd.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ctrlwzrd.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is trojandropper.vb.nvg, from your system.
