The ctplay2.exe process is an executable component file of the Creative PlayCenter software, which is a Windows program classified as a multimedia content playback and management tool bundled with the firmware utilities and driver software components of Creative Sound Blaster devices and Creative Nomad Jukebox players. The Creative Sound Blaster device is a line of audio adapter cards or soundcards developed by Creative Technology for Windows-based computers that are equipped with supported motherboards. The Creative Nomad Jukebox player is an external MP3 and digital audio device designed by the same company for Windows-based systems.
