What is cssswd.exe
The cssswd.exe process is an executable component file of the SnoopStick software, which is a Windows program classified as a parental control tool and client monitoring application developed by Solid Oak Software with a set of features that can allow network and system administrators to remotely or locally record keyboard inputs and mouse click activity performed in the system. The SnoopStick software also enables network and system administrators to take snapshots of the desktop at regular timed intervals, and to log visited websites, IMs (Instant Messages), emails and social network activities of the user. The SnoopStick software also provides network and system administrators with options to locally and remotely toggle between hidden/silent/active monitoring modes, configure time-based computer and Internet usage limitations, and to enter specific blocked or restricted websites among other functions. The cssswd.exe process is specifically deployed into the system by the SnoopStick software to assist in the implementation of its local and remote monitoring and software configuration functionalities into the Windows-based client computer. The cssswd.exe file is placed in the client system upon the installation, configuration and deployment of the SnoopStick software across the client computers that are connected to the same local or remote network.
