The csdata32.exe process has been identified by the system security tools of many users as a malicious application integrated into the system by the RBOT worm and associated with the Microsoft Data Machine application, which has been reported by some users as a Trojan with spyware functionalities. These users claim that the csdata32.exe process is implemented with autorun functionalities and the ability to create and inject keys and entries into the unsecured Windows System Registry of an unprotected system. These registry strings are said to instruct the system to allow the csdata32.exe malware to automatically initialize during system startup and operate as a background process during system runtime, while being disguised as "Microsoft Data Machine" in the Processes tab of the Windows Task Manager. The csdata32.exe malware is said to be capable of exploiting and using the unencrypted TCP/IP network ports of the unprotected Windows-based computer, especially if the system lacks the necessary OS security certificates, to download more malicious applications from remote servers that are managed by the authors of the csdata32.exe malware. Some users reported that the csdata32.exe malware is also capable of secretly gathering private user details and Internet surfing information from the infected system and its installed Web browsers, and these users claim that the csdata32.exe malware transmits these stolen details to the remote servers of its authors for processing. The csdata32.exe malware is also said to perform certain directives transmitted by these remote servers upon processing the stolen data uploaded by the csdata32.exe malware.
