The crsss.exe file pertains to a dangerous file called W32.Rbot.mx Worm, or also known as Worm.RbotMx.Process. This malicious file is installed on a computer system from the Internet, particularly through email, infects the device by replicating itself and spreading to other email addresses listed on the contact of the user’s email. It does not only annoy the user and his or her friends, but also provide bad effects to the computer’s performance and Internet settings. There are also other damaging possibilities, such as stealing information or data and phishing. To ensure the user has the crsss.exe file running on the system, an antivirus program needs to be utilized and scan any threats associated with the process. Scanning the computer is helpful to diagnose if any dangerous file like W32.Rbot.mx Worm is infecting or has infected the system.
